I love this printer! I had to buy a new printer after my old one would no longer sync with my updated computer system. I was nervous about having to set up the printer but, it went smoothly and works beautifully. The print speed is good and it is very easy to use. I have it hooked up for automatic ink refills which makes it one less thing that I need to worry about. I think it is a solid printer for the price!

This printer has been a fantastic addition to my home office. Setup was quick and simple, and the wireless connection works flawlessly with all my devices. It prints fast, the colors are sharp and vibrant, and the scanner/copier functions make everyday tasks so much easier. I also love the smart features and Instant Ink compatibility — it saves time and money.

I like this printer very much. It replaced an older one. The new one feels much more solid than the older one. That was a pleasant surprise based on the trends of today’s products which almost always seem cheaper. Set up is easy. And there were choices of how and where to set it up. It also tracks ink usage and automatically sends ink when needed. Never run out of ink. And the program pricing is much better than buying one off at retail. The printer does everything I need. It is not too noisy either. It does seem to take a bit longer to print but the printed documents are very high quality. It also prints photos better than any printer I have had. It has a feeder. The great thing is when you use the manual platen you don’t need to place the document in an exact position. The printer detects what you are printing and adjusts itself. No more crooked or off center copies. That is great for me. As printers go the price, size and quality make it top notch.

The printer and copier work great but getting it hooked up was a pain and don’t call HP’s Tech Support because its fraud they will tell you your brand new computer is filled with viruses and you need to buy a new program. Wireless connectivity is great after its hooked up. Print speed is average. It seems like this printer will hold up for a while and is easy to use after you get it set up. But HP 3 months of free ink is a lie. The pamplet they give you with a code to redeem it is expired and doesn’t work.

After going through the motions of loading the software/firmware again after my earlier complaint, I was helped by the REAL HP team! In just a few minutes, they solved the problems created by my initial contact. By me contacting the “on line chat” with the HP help desk, I received a support call from a hacker who tried to force me into a cyber protection program for $$$$$! Thanks to the real HP support, no money was wasted.
I HATE DEALING WITH PROBLEMS!
*** Initial review, later amended- Printers are apparently no longer “plug and play”. Plugged it in and followed startup sheet. Wouldn’t install the software, fatal error C0000022. Contacted their help desk. They remote entered my computer, did diagnostic run, and then tried to sell me firewall protection for $850 for 5 years or $1500 for life. Said they wouldn’t help me if I didn’t, said goodbye and hung up.

Usually, I do not write reviews, but after reading the reviews, I think it’s important to do this. The printers is good quality but cheaply made. The cord falls provide falls out so if you a cord from a HP printer, keep it !!! It will save you a heartache. It does print 8 1/2 x 11 little slow but it does work, quality is good -not excellent set up so so had some connection problems but overall I’m OK with it. For the price it’s probably worth it (?) you decide.

I work from home and I have went through a lot of printers over the past 1-2 years. Most work great for a couple of months then stop working. So far, I have had zero issues with this printer. Great for printing, scanning etc. Gave me a headache at setup but everything after that has been easy.

The printer worked fine out of the box however, be aware of 2 things.
The scanner cannot scan 2 sided documents using the document feeder’s duplex feature, because there is no duplex feature offered on this model, according to HP Support. The HP website seems to indicate that it is possible, but it is not.
The glass size is not large enough to scan a legal sized document, the only way to scan legal is through the document feeder. Measure the glass size and make sure it works for you before ordering. It is large enough to scan a letter sized document 8 ½” x 11.

I’ve installed the printer on my new Windows 11S laptop and it is working great.
The installation was not easy for me, it took me about about 2 hours to install and get everything working via wifi.
The instructions are not very clear.

Just set it up and is working great so far. It has so many options for the price, and the online tutorial was really easy to use. My only issue was I got a lot of paper jams at first, but it tells you where the jam is, making it easier to use. It prints super fast, and double sided which I love.
