  • [Extreme Performance] Our RJ45 crimp tool has a built-in adjustable strain latch presser bar that enables you to use this tool with any style RJ45 connector on the market. Unshielded, shielded (internal and external ground), pass through, load bar style push in plugs, and everything else except AMP and ezEX-RJ45. Tested extensively with trueCABLE RJ45 modular plugs. Less tool switching means less tools to carry around.
  • [Quality Guaranteed] Whether it’s a few terminations or thousands, our high performance industrial grade passthrough RJ45 crimper tool will handle the job. The ergonomic spring loaded anti-slip handle returns to a ready position upon cycle completion. Our easy to use sliding “gun style” lock keeps the tool closed when not in operation. High visibility green accent plastic means you won’t lose this tool in your tool bag. Close tolerance and polished internal components for super smooth operation.
  • [Versatile] Four tools in one. Cut, strip, and terminate your bulk Ethernet cable onto a RJ45 plug with one tool, even when using pass-through RJ45 ends. Self-adjusting cable stripper accommodates cable jacket ODs from 6.00 to 8.00mm. Cable cutter accommodates up to 8.00mm thick shielded Ethernet (NOT for steel conductor cable). Need to crimp an external ground tab on your shielded RJ45 connector? No problem. Our RJ45 pass through crimp tool is outfitted with a ground crimp cavity.
  • [Easy To Use] Trims conductors from the nose of pass-through plugs accurately and automatically, even staggered conductor plugs. T568A and T568B color code combinations screen are printed on the side of our ethernet crimping tool for quick reference. Blade guard on the cable cutter prevents accidental finger cuts.
  • [✓ Field Tested, Customer Approved] Our All-In-One Crimp and Termination Tool is an oxidized (blued) carbon tool steel one-piece casting, engineered for smooth and dependable operation. The best tool I ever used

It’s a nice tool, good quality and what I’ve gotten from the brand so far has been nice. The only downside is it’s not compatible with normal plugs so I still have to carry my old crimp tool as well but it’s always good to have a spare. That is literally my only disappointment as it a beautiful crimper for passed through connectors. Plus it’s green so I can tell all my green tools apart from everybody else so nobody else is allowed to get green tools. I say that jokingly but I am trying to get only green tools so I can spot them and know they’re mine. Unfortunately there’s a certain company with green… in their name who is now selling orangely and yucky brownly colored tools and has not updated their product photos, thankfully truecable has come out with some comparable items that are actually green.

Es justo lo que necesitaba, y es de buena calidad.

Recently purchased another crimp tool to do what this one does. The first tool worked okay but does not cut the wires close enough before needing a Stanley knife to get the tips. This RJ45 Crimp Tool from trueCable works great, just apply pressure and wallah the wires are snipped off, once in a while the farthest wire on either end might not get snipped completely but they will break off easily by touching the wire protruding from the end of the cutters. NO need for wire cutters! Love It and wish it had been my first purchased tool!
Do not purchased a cheaper version just to save a couple dollars like I did you will end up doing a lot more work.

Very well made product, sturdy/heavy, easy to handle. Would recommend to anyone running ethernet.

    No cutting area no striping
    Costly and missing functions

Tool is amazingly well built and functional. Has been a godsend on a project I’ve been working on. Fast cut, strip, and crimp. The T568A/B diagram on the side is also extremely helpful

I really like this tool – it works great with the other stuff trueCABLE makes, but I’m also sure it would work with more generic options. It also feels extremely robust and overall well made.

I wasn’t sure what the v3 added (since it’s not listed on Amazon), so I reached out to trueCABLE and they gave me an immediate and really helpful response! Was super impressed with their customer service. In case anyone is interested, the v3 has the following improvements:

    – The new feature and biggest difference is the ability to cut cable and crimp external ground collars for shielded cables
    – Another new feature is the ergonomic spring loaded anti-slip handle that returns to a ready position upon cycle completion
    – Can use with unshielded, shielded (internal and external ground), pass through, load bar style push in plugs
    – Self-adjusting cable stripper to accommodate cable jacket ODs from 6.00 to 8.00mm
    – Trims conductors from the nose of pass-through plugs accurately and automatically, even staggered conductor plugs

Used this a number of times with the TruCable outdoor CAT6 cable, and it works nicely, but you really have to be careful when crimping. I use the TruCable pass-through connectors (with the outdoor stuff you almost have to) and twice it bent the shielded RJ45 housing when I pressed down. Make absolutely sure you have it in the slot properly before crimping otherwise you’ll end up starting over. It doesn’t give you a lot of positive feedback (or firm lock) that the connector is seated exactly as it should be.

Overall, I still like this crimper, and it is well-built and feels like it’ll last forever.

I was a bit hesitant to buy the crimper after seeing a number of negative comments on the stripper feature. The stripper works fine – the use of the stripper isn’t like a traditional stripper where the jacket is removed by the tool. This one is a two step process, where the tools job is to score the jacket – the second step is to take the cable from the tool, and snap the jacket at the score line. Their instructions (written and video) give a clear explanation and make the distinction between their method and some other tools. My main reason to review, is to help others remove the hesitancy I had – the stripper works fine and ensures wires aren’t nicked if you use the tool as they indend.

My first time using this new tool I noticed the RJ-45 connector wasn’t going in all the way. I thought maybe the tool was defective but I soon realized the pass through connectors I was using was the problem. It’s hard to describe but I have to shave a small amount off the tip of the connector so it will go all the way in. I have only used one brand of pass through connectors so others may work better then what I bought. As far as the tool it works beautifully. I’m glad I bought this tool. I highly recommend it.

I purchased this as a trial. As a low voltage contractor I crimp a lot of RJ45 modular connectors. I have used Platinum tools crimper and modular ends for years and like the quality but the modular ends are pricey. The price of TrueCable modular ends are approximately a third of the price. This tool feels like it will hold up well, time will tell. I like having one tool to strip the sheath, cut conductors to length and crimp the modular ends on. I like that the handle can be locked in the closed position, unlike the Klein crimper of similar design. So far TrueCable is winning me over.

Muy buena marca, es deficil encontrar esta marca de trueCABLE en Mexico, pero apesar de esto si vale la pena ya que tienes para crimpear cable aislado aparte de passthru.

I’ve needed a good network tool set and this has finished it off well.

Yes it isn’t cheap but it will hopefully pay for itself in time saved in the future.

Very sturdy and I like the adjustability of it as well.
