This SJWOW 3-in-1 tool is a handy concept for network cable terminations, but the execution is mixed. The stripping function works well—it removes the outer jacket on Cat5/6/7 cleanly without nicking the conductors, which is faster and safer than using standard cutters. For that alone, it’s useful. The straightening and untwist feature, however, isn’t as smooth as shown in the product video. You have to press the side button and pull the wires through, which takes some practice and doesn’t always produce perfect results. Build quality is lightweight and a bit flimsy compared to pro-grade tools, so it may not hold up under heavy daily use. For occasional projects or hobbyists, it’s a time-saver that helps reduce finger fatigue, but professionals may find it frustrating and overpriced for what it delivers. A decent convenience tool, just not as polished as advertised.

  2. SleepyDoug

It’s easy to use but it cuts too deep on the sheathing cutting into the insulation of the wires. Yes, you can still make your termination and it will work but that’s not my standard. I frequently use cable strippers for electrical cables and an adjustable blade is a must for a precision strip, the spring tension is not good for every network cable you come across. I tried it on 4 different types of CAT5 and it cut through the insulation on 3 of them. Honestly, I don’t care what else it can do because it failed step one.

  3. David Ari

This little gadget is a lifesaver for anyone working with network cables. It made stripping and untwisting wires quick, clean, and frustration-free. The rotating design works smoothly and saves a ton of time compared to doing it by hand. It’s compact, durable, and easy to toss in a tech bag, making it perfect for on-the-go fixes. If you’re an IT pro or just like your cables neat and tidy, this tool is worth every penny.

  4. Simon J. Ayala

Didn’t work as expected. It was washer and faster to work the cable by hand

  5. Phillip K Coffee

This tool is interesting but not really needed. I work in IT and work with CAT 5 cable all the time. This tool works as a stripper pretty good. but the other end is not good at unwinding the wire. You can clamp it on the end and twits the tool but that’s not very effective, easier to do it by hand. But after you get them untwisted you can use the clamping end to help straighten the wire for putting on Male RJ45 ends. Just to press down to much or it will damage the out part of the cable. So I say its a 2 in 1 tool.

  6. Super Tech Guy

This tool turned out to be really useful for tidying up cables. The stripping function is straightforward and makes quick work of prepping network wires without nicking the conductors. The built-in organizer and straightener are clever additions that make the cables look neat and professional after crimping.
It feels lightweight but solid enough to handle regular use. The rotating straightener does a good job of smoothing out twisted pairs so they slide right into connectors without a fight. It definitely speeds up the process compared to doing everything manually.
For anyone who does networking setups or just likes their cables to be neat, this is a practical little gadget. It combines a few steps into one tool and makes the whole job easier and cleaner.

  7. Troy Schaller

Does not untwist the conductors like the video shows. You have to hold down the side button and twist. Hard to hold the cable in one hand then hold the tool, press and hold the button, then twist!

  8. Muhammad

Kind of a excessive or pointless tool. It feels cheap and flimsy. Like it can break or come apart in your hands.
I cuts fairly accurately or sharp, and works well once you get the hang of using it. It has a small learning curve so its not the easiest to use. Reviewing the product video is recommended. It cuts with accuracy, it does all three functions well enough.

However, it feels cheap and poorly made. Price should reflect build quality and materials.
