I ordered this to scan my classroom library into a spreadsheet for inventory purposes. The first 200 books, it was fine, but after that, despite being plugged in, kept disconnecting. Additionally, the directions are not great, as it consists of a bunch of barcodes, and you have to figure out what it going to work for you. It took far too long to figure out.

I bought this scanner for work. Plug n play works well but takes a second in between multiple scans. I would recommend if only using for periodical scanning but not when needing a quick lot of scanning.

I like the LED light that helps you see while scanning, however the red laser sometimes doesn’t emit the ability to read the barcode. That’s normal but it is too frequent to happen with this device.

It’s very lightweight Doesn’t need batteries. Convenient. Hope this helps

I got this scanner to inventory my book, CD, DVD, and video game collection. The setup was extremely easy and using the scanner was intuitive and straightforward.
Finding the right software (at least for my needs) proved to be a challenge, but this is not within the control of the manufacturer.
The included instructions were easy to understand and detailed how you could override the default settings to meet your needs (for continuous scanning vs trigger scanning for example).
The build quality is good, and feels like it will be able to be used for many years to come.

Attempted to use this to read bar codes for inventory on a large FW update project. Even aft4er calibration, it couldn’t properly or consistently read them. It was easier and faster to use iPhones and OCR.

There is something cool about using a scanner. It is so handy to have a separate device than using the scanner on my phone. For a home-based business just starting out the very reasonable cost was also a factor. It reminds me of when I was a child and played grocery store…I sure could have used it back then. It works great, looks great and was inexpensive. You can’t go wrong.

This scan gun performs exceptionally well, leveraging a pair of LEDs and a camera module to read both 1D and 2D barcodes. It excels at scanning even damaged, faded, or lightly obscured barcodes without any issues. While it may struggle with warped barcodes, such as those on a plastic bag, simply flattening them out resolves the problem effectively.

I found this scanner to be highly reliable, to the point where I ordered four more for work. Its plug-and-play functionality means no setup is required for most barcodes; just plug in the USB cable and start scanning. For those with more specific needs, a comprehensive booklet of setup barcodes is included.

In summary, this scan gun is a dependable and efficient tool for barcode scanning. Its ability to handle a variety of barcode conditions with minimal setup makes it an excellent choice for both everyday use and more specialized applications.

We work in mortgage and I bought a few hand held scanners for our team. They handle incoming packages and we track all packages that come in. This made it easy for the team and they jus scan and move to the next package. They used to manually input the tracking numbers so this has improved our process. Great product.

Love that this scanner is very simple and completes the mundane task of scanning bar codes on book advances to make sure they bring up the right number at work. The cord is attached, and it has to be plugged in to the computer to work (old school!). There is no screen, nor massive numbers of functions to set. You just plug it into your computer, open something you would normally type on (like Word or a text editing program), point and shoot. It brings up the number the bar code indicates and it looks great in that green doing it!
