Absolutely the best body groomer I’ve ever used. Great for all upper body. If you don’t want to completely shave your legs the attachment included does an incredible job of grooming without shaving. Doesn’t nick or cut. It’s pricey but worth it.

This is the best body trimmer I’ve ever owned! The quality is fantastic, and the battery lasts a surprisingly long time. Trimming is clean and even, exactly what I was looking for.
I saw some reviews mentioning the blades being fragile, but I disagree. They seem just as sturdy as any other trimmer blades I’ve used. As with any delicate equipment, just handle them with a little care and they’ll be fine.
Overall, I’m super impressed with this trimmer. Highly recommend!

If you’re a guy like me who hates his body hair make sure you buy this Panasonic shaver. It’s a miracle worker. I just finished shaving my arms and belly and it does a beautiful job removing the unsightly black hairs. I was so happy and impressed by how effective this body shaver works. It surpassed my expectation. So glad I found it because my other shavers just weren’t up to the task. Also, it looks and feels beautifully made and engineered. Highly recommended.

I’ve been buying various Norelco Body Groomers for the last 10+ years and have always been kind of disappointed with their performance. My last dual-sided unit finally gave up the ghost on the trimmer side, and I was ready to try something new. I’ve always wanted one of the Panasonic hair shavers and just use one of those, but the price kept me away.
For the record: I’m a white male with at best described “fine” to medium body hair, so your results may vary if you have very coarse, thick hair.
The box has two guards in addition to the standard guard. If you’re coming from the Body Groomer like me, the initial silver guard runs a trimming length more or less the same length as if you were running guard free on the “trimmer” side, but with the benefit of having an actual guard on it, which is helpful if you’ve ever taken a chunk of your skin with the Philips unit. The teeth on the Panasonic trimmer are much much finer than the BodyGroomer, so guard free trimming will get pretty close to a smooth shave, but more on that later.
I found it worked best on the neck and below. Using the guard end on my upper lip/face was rather disconcerting, but it might just be a personal feeling kind of thing. Doing my chest/groin/the few shoulder hairs/armpits was fine, if much easier because of the guard on it, and the ergonomics felt better. Trimming my arm hair (I don’t really do it that often, but felt like testing the trimmer out) was more of a long winded chore like any other trimmer of this type, but I found I didn’t have to go back and forth over the same spot so much as I did with the Philips, even when new. Doing my legs (bike racer here) with the narrow head though, was a long process, and it’d be faster honestly if you just stuck with a razor.
On a side note, I really liked the fact the trimmer charger was part of a plug stand instead of having an ugly cable with a barrel connector, which cuts down the bathroom cabinet clutter.
I don’t particularly like lubricating the blade. I know any good trimmer requires proper lubrication for good cutting, but coming from 10+ years on the body groomers with no need for lubrication makes disassembly and reassembly sort of feel odd. Some angles get a little awkward with the toothbrush angle versus the straight style. The included travel bag is pretty cheap feeling and barely above a ziplock bag as far as quality goes.
Long term support/battery life is yet to be determined, but I’m pretty much convinced by the quality it cuts.

I saw a woman on social media say that she uses a body trimmer for all-over care and that that is what’s helped her with ingrown hairs. As someone who’s used razors (mens’ and pink), epilators, hair removal cream, wax, etc., I was very excited.
I’ve found that this works wonderfully for everywhere (pubic/groin area, legs, underarms). It won’t leave your skin completely bare. but the closest setting is like half a day-a day’s shaving growth.
Pros:
-No ingrown hairs
-Extremely close trim
-Reusable/More eco-friendly than regular razors
-Difficult to mess up if you follow directions (I’ve used this 5-6 times and never gotten cut or nicked)
-Easy set up (Inital set up is longer but in general: charge for 8 hours, lubricate blade)
-Easy clean-up (Clean out trimmer + blade, let dry, lubricate blade, store in a preferrably cool and dry place)
-Can be used wet or dry (I’ve only used it wet)
Cons:
-Have to charge 8 hours for a 40 minute full charge
-It’s recommended you drain the battery completely before charging for another 8 hours, so kind of annoying
-Takes a little bit to get used to (first time trimmer user here and the shape is very unique)
Notes:
-It comes with everything you need (Trimmer, blade, oil, attachments, handbook, case thing, charger, etc). After a certain amount of use, you will need to buy another blade and more oil to lubricate the blade
-Remember to exfoliate and cleanse the area before hair removal to limit possible ingrowns and break outs
-Please follow directions (everything is provided in the handbook)
-Try it on your arm or leg first to get an idea of the trimmer’s shape, shave length, and to practice
-NEVER use the trimmer in your pubic/groin area or somewhere you can’t see without the appropriate attachment

I recently started trimming my armpit and chest hair. I’ve been using my beard trimmer, but I wanted a dedicated body hair trimmer to use. I also wanted something that would be good for pubic hairs. This item came up often in reviews, so I finally gave it a shot.
It works great.
I tried it on my chest first. The default guard doesn’t give a close enough cut, but removing it and just using the blade worked perfect. I was able to do my chest and stomach a lot quicker than I could previously with my beard trimmer. The shape also made doing my armpits a lot easier. Very nice design.
And this thing is PERFECT for the balls. I tried it with the default guard, and I was able to quickly and safely trim my balls and shaft without any need for caution. No nicks. No scares. I was able to glide it across my sack easily and it’s even a close trim with the guard attached. Highly recommend this! It was so to use that I even trimmed the back side and into those crevices for the first time. Super happy with the results, and especially happy the default guard is safe while also cutting enough hair.
If you only needed a pubic hair trimmer, I couldn’t recommend this enough, and it’s an added bonus that it works so well on the rest of the body.

Trimmer is nice but the blade is not durable. The blade teeth broke after a few months or light use.

I bought this product on amazon.sg, and even though it is shipped from the US, I assumed that it would work in Singapore. However, the charger works on 110V only which means if you want to use it in Singapore, you need a step-down transformer, and a reliable step-down transformer is bulky and expensive.
When I tried to return it, I was only given the option to return it via my own means (as opposed to it getting picked up) and wasn’t able to because it contains a lithium battery which Singapore Post did not accept for shipping. Using a courier would have meant paying much more than the 30 dollars amazon would have reimbursed. As a result, I ended up not returning the product and losing the money I paid it. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed!
