This is completely accurately described. I am getting full speeds and it was a simple plug and play. I didn’t have to install anything it worked immediately. I’ve bought other things from this brand before and UGREEN has never once failed me. It’s aluminum casing, so it’s durable and should have even heat distribution. It’s the standard size for this type of product. I lost the one that my Dell came with, and this is the same size as the Dell one was. I am running Windows 11 and have had no driver issues.

Updated: I have other UGREEN devices that worked fine. This USB-C to Ethernet adapter worked for Internet access for an Android tablet but didn’t work to connect the tablet to a Windows 11 PC using Remote Desktop Connection (RDC). I tried both a crossover and straight Ethernet cable. Both showed lights. I tried straight cables to an Ethernet switch. This tablet does connect to the Windows PC with RDC over a wireless connection (but I want a wired connection as it drops out too often on WiFi and doesn’t come back up).
In testing the tablet to Internet connection with this adapter, I turned WiFi off. When the Ethernet was unplugged, I lost the Internet connection so I know it works. Plugged back in and the Internet connection was restored.
So, I give it 4 stars as I cannot figure out how to use it with RDC on the Android tablet.

Ich bin total beeindruckt von dem Adapter! Der Adapter funktioniert einwandfrei und bietet eine superschnelle Verbindung mit 1 Gbps – perfekt für mein MacBook Pro. Keine mehr wackeligen WLAN-Verbindungen oder langsamen Downloadzeiten!
Die Installation war ein Kinderspiel; einfach anschließen, und schon bin ich online. Ich finde es besonders klasse, dass er mit verschiedenen Geräten kompatibel ist, von meinem Chromebook bis zum Galaxy Tab S23 Ultra. Das macht ihn unglaublich vielseitig und praktisch.
Das Design ist zudem echt ansprechend – schön schlicht und elegant in Grau. Mit einer Länge von 50 cm ist er auch perfekt, um ihn überall mitzunehmen, ohne dass es Kabelsalat gibt.
Wenn ihr nach einer zuverlässigen und schnellen Ethernet-Lösung sucht, kann ich diesen Adapter nur empfehlen! Er hat mein Online-Erlebnis auf jeden Fall verbessert!

I was pretty skeptical about a USB to Ethernet, it plugged it in and instantly configured ots self, Work that way on my old IBM ThinkPad W520 business series laptop and the new Leovo Thinkpad one I just got from Walmart the core I 7 just plugged in it configured itself. An ethernet connection that smokes any Wi-Fi connection. And the peace of mind knowing you’re on an ethernet connection from your router instead Wi-Fi giving you that extra level of security. It justs blows away Wi-Fi when you can connect directly to your router with an ethernet cable. Which I suggest a category 8 cable given everything now it is based on higher quality ethernet cables and heavier lying of shielding. Amazon has a great selection of category 8 indoor outdoor cables with goldens at amazing prices. But I give this a 10 out of 10 out of 5 stars and I’m a total computer geek a retired senior systems engineer and software analyst it’s nice to see something that works exactly as advertised in that prive range, and so simple I didn’t have to configure anything but turn off my Wi-Fi and there was my ethernet no latemcy internet connection

ipadをWifiで利用していましたが、ウェブ会議や動画視聴などで時折途切れてしまうため、有線接続に変更しました。
インターネット速度はPCの有線LAN接続には劣りますが、WiFiより格段に速くなりました。
設定も不要で差すだけで簡単でした。

Excellent! Had given up on my computer update/functionality many years ago. Literally would not do anything, yet the fans would run constantly. Decided to do a clean install with full sweep of the drive, but the computer kept failing to connect to wifi after it started setting up OS. Connected directly with this dongle to the ethernet cable and voila! This piece saved me over $1k; the need to buy a laptop. Great value, compact, no lag, easy to use.

I had bought this for my phone, since I work in IT and sometimes I need something to verify connectivity. It works on my Android phone but I noticed that on my phone it doesn’t reach full speed but then I tried it on a laptop and then I was downloading at 1Gig, so there must be something about it that my phone doesn’t like, but it works for the purpose for which I bought it, just to check connectivity.

Wife writing a review for her nerdy/lazy husband. I have no idea what these are for, but this is what he’s said:
“The chipset used in these works very well with Linux with no modifications! And they were cheap!”
Apparently he didn’t have to find/install any special drivers, just had to restart his computer. Or something.
Idk. But he’s happy enough that he told me to go leave a good review (which I never do cause I’m lazy). So, I’d say if you’re thinking of trying this thing, go for it. Good bang for your buck.

This one works correctly on my samsung s23 ultra phone and it was cheap. The one i previously had (different brand) worked ok on a laptop but no matter what i tried would not work on my s23 phone
