The picture quality is good. There is a wide selection of channels. Google Cast, Prime Video, and Xumoplay work OK. Some functions freeze up and I have to restart the TV several times weekly.

There is no CC button on the hand-held remote. It takes 4 or 5 steps to turn captions on and off. The star button doesn’t do anything on my remote. Typing in a channel number is cumbersome and takes too many steps. My old TV and remote were more user friendly.

The VIZIO app remote is poorly designed. There is no “previous channel” button and no 123 keypad. The CC and INFO buttons are on a secondary menu. The OK button takes up too much space. That space could be used for other often used buttons. Typing in a channel number with a dash (e.g. 10-3) is cumbersome and takes too many steps. I switch channels often during sporting events.

I wanted a bigger tv than my old 30″ for several reasons but mainly because I was having some difficulty reading the screen and it was a bear to get any bluetooth earbuds to connect. This Vizio solved both of those problems. The picture is sharp and clear and the bluetooth feature works like a charm! I’m an older lady but I didn’t have any trouble getting it out of the box and setting it up. The legs were tricky to attach and I wished I had one of those magnetized screwdrivers but once I had them on there was no problem with screws not fitting or the TV tipping. The plethora of programming choices is overwhelming but in the end I went back to using my TV firestick in HDMI2. The remote control that comes with the Vizio is super sensitive and take just a touch to move the cursor around the screen. All in all I’m quite delighted with it and for the price it was a bargain.

Nice picture & sound. Has a numeric keypad remote, but still takes many steps just to watch live TV. Bummer! As bad as voice controlled remotes. Have 24” model also. Read about difficulty connecting VIZIOs to speakers – 24” is plugged directly into sound bar via audio cable; 40” connects to bluetooth speaker a few feet away with just a few taps in the settings.

Well, Vizio pulled a fast one on me. Last week I started receiving messages whenever I turned on my 9 year old 32″ Vizio, that Netflix and other apps would no longer be supported. This means only satellite TV or old fashioned antennas would result in a picture. Since I cut the cable 2 years ago, this meant the perfectly working TV would be useless to me. I gave it to a friend who wanted it as a computer monitor. Because I have another Vizio and it gives me good sound and good picture for a reasonable price I decided to order this one.

Set up was very simple. Adding streaming apps was fast and there are a LOT to chose from; both free and subscription. When I tuned it to a program, I thought the sound was kind of muffled and hard to hear without increasing the volume pretty high. So I went into the settings and under Audio there are 3 options for sound quality. Factory set up was the worst (muffled) option. I chose the option that produced clear, sharp annunciation without having high volume. Because of this, it’s the best sound quality of any of my 3 current TVs.

Picture is great and almost no lag time when changing programs or channels. I had no trouble with inserting the feet – screws and holes lined up perfectly. I am once again very happy with my Vizio TV. As each older TV bites the dust, each will be replaced with a Vizio.
